How is Count billed?
Plans are billed annually. Every paid plan includes unlimited users and unlimited warehouses.
Do I need a credit card for the free trial plan?
No. The free trial plan covers 10 items and one warehouse, it has no time limit, and it takes no card to start.
What does the free trial plan include?
10 items and one warehouse, with no time limit and no credit card.
Can I try the QuickBooks connection before I pay?
Yes. On the free trial plan, which has no time limit, you connect QuickBooks Online, choose up to 10 items from your item list, count them, and post the adjustment back for those items. A paid plan imports your whole item list if it fits the plan's item limit.
What happens when I reach my item limit?
Essentials covers 2,500 items and Growth covers 10,000, and the limit includes every item in Count, whether it came from QuickBooks, a spreadsheet or by hand. Adding items by hand, from a spreadsheet or on the phone stops at the limit. If QuickBooks has more new items than your plan has room for, you choose which ones to bring in; the rest stay in QuickBooks until you have room for them. Counts for items QuickBooks does not have are never sent to QuickBooks. If you have more than 10,000 items, Scale is quoted individually, so contact us.
What do our counters need to carry?
Your team’s phones, or the scanner you already own. Count runs on iOS 16 and later and on Android 8 and later, and a hardware barcode scanner works as keyboard input.
What if I decide not to renew?
Plans are billed once a year, and you keep full access for the whole year you paid for. We do not refund a year once it is billed. If you decide not to continue, turn off renewal from your billing page at any time before your renewal date and you will not be charged again. The free trial plan has no time limit, so you can decide whether Count fits before you pay.
What happens to my count data if I cancel?
Your data stays in the account for up to 90 days after it closes, so you can reactivate or export it. Export the variance reports and the activity log for your year-end file before then; those exports are yours to keep. See section 5 of our privacy policy.
